Berry & vanilla coconut smoothie

Feb 12, 2015

Spinach, celery and berries is an unusual concept for breakfast but if you’re looking for something filling and delicious that takes two minutes to make then this is a serious contender!! When I was new to the smoothie world I tried so many combinations, some worked and some really didn’t work…as an FYI – cherry tomatoes, spinach, vanilla protien, nettle leaf and turmeric with water as a base is not a fun combination, as you might imagine.

Electrolyte rich celery, cucumber and coconut water help to restore balance within the body and bathe your cells in alkalizing minerals and at the same time, the berries in the smoothie alert your taste buds and body to let it know that today’s going to be a gorgeously nourishing day. Berries naturally contain an abundance of antioxidants and plant phytonutrients such as resveratrol and anthocyanins which are able to make their way into your body to prepare it for the day ahead.
